Skyfire no longer working

It seems Skyfire is cutting out windows mobile users in favor of the iphone and android users. Does anyone know of a good web browser to use in lieu of Skyfire...preferably one the that can display flash content as well as Skyfire?
Thanks.

when it came out for iphone, so many people bought and used it that it crashed the servers. they claim to be working on it.

Re: Skyfire no longer working

right, anyway...
so I did some research and found two prospects.
1. UC Web browser. Easy to install, easy to use. However, after I started using it, I realized it was simply not what i was looking for. It only navigated to mobile versions of web sites and its interface is fairly elementary.
2. BOLT. Difficult to install. This was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use, fast, visits full web page versions, multiple tabs, displays flash content and plays video. **Recommended over UC Web Browser.

Now, BOLT web browser is designed for JAVA phones. Therefore, I had to install a java emulator which the BOLT browser runs on top of. As stated before, it was difficult to install. When you visit Bitstream's website http://boltbrowser.com/dnld.html, you will find that the files you need to install are .jad files. My Omnia i910 and WM6.1 cannot handle these types of files. So I downloaded 'bolts2.jad' and transferred it to my phone.

Now you need the emulator. I found this one (Esmertec Jbed) and it is pretty stable: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=407667. I Downloaded and installed the most recent file. After installing the emulator on my Omnia, I loaded the .jad file and done.

Enjoy.

Download the .jad file to your computer. Transfer it to your phone. I emailed it to myself and then opened the email on my Omnia and saved the file to my storage card. Once I installed the Java emulator, my phone recognized the file and it was able to install. I did find that clicking on the link to the file on the website, using my phone - it did not launch. But it worked when I opened te file that was on my phone's storage card.

Hope this helps.
