bootloader?

How do you put the Omnia in bootloader mode? I just sold the phone and want to flash to the VZW rom, but the previous rom I had from lioryte comes up with a Beta expiration notice and I can't get past it to flash.

Re: bootloader?

UMDL and DC22 image won't work for you? And you won't need to flash to stock first.

good day.

Re: bootloader?

No, the beta expiration notice seem to be preventing the phone from letting the PC connect. The first time I connected the phone to pc, windows downloaded and installed the drivers. You even hear the connection sound everytime you connect and disconnect the usb. It doesn't look like the beta message lets active sync connect to WMDC. I wanted to try to bypass this step then by going directly into bootloader mode and flash.

Hard reset didn't work either.

Thanks for your help so far!

Re: bootloader?

If you are using UMDL (not the official updater tool), you will plug in the phone while it's turned off and then turn it on, which will start the flash, so you are bypassing the current ROM on the phone and WMDC.
Grab the IMG file from here. You should already have UMDL if you have been flashing ROMs but it can be found here along with the USB drivers. Follow those steps and you will be back to stock.
