DC22 sms fix help

Just wondering if there is a SMS fix for the DC22 Rom that corrects the new message count (if a thread is kept open it doesnt register new incoming texts as read). All I can find is a fix for CC20. Am I the only one with this issue?

stock rom, im really liking being stock, fast, stable... just this crappy sms problem. any cooked roms that are nearly stock?

Not really. All cooked ROMs are running some flavor of 6.5 and have most of the stock stuff removed. But they don't have the SMS bug!
