Button Combo to do a hard reset?
 

Sorry if this has been asked before but is there a button combo to do a hard reset on the Samsung Omnia?

My friend bought one second hand (the esn is clear) and as he buys a lot of phones some in person some off ebay I'm sure he does not remember who he bought it from or he would not ask me. the phone is locked and he does not know the unlock code. If there is no button combo is there anything else i can do before flashing a cooked rom and replacing bootloader (i only know htcs) would flashing a stock rom clear it (I think it would but maybe ominia?


Please no telling me to search I googled and I dont have anymore time to look as I need to feed my sisters kid

Hold down the Send and End keys while pressing the Reset button with a paperclip (next to the power button on top).

Some locked phones will still allow you to make calls... If you can just add the esn to your account online and once you dial *228 to program, the lock code will now be the last 4 of your number... This works on a lot of dumb phones but never tried on WM or Driod phone....

LOL just looked at this thread... Never fixed it for him, that's okay though, he was not a very good friend.
