Button Mapping?

I must say I am impressed with this phone. Its similar to my omnia 1 in the same way that straight out of the box it just p*sses me off; but as I customize it more and more to my liking it becomes awesome. My question here: Are there any registry tweaks or applications to unlock more button mapping options? I'd like my center button (gd i miss the optical button from O1) to act as a "select" button. You know, so I dont have to double tap the screen on apps like total commander (1 tap usually tries to rename dir/file). The optical mouse button on O1 was by default the way I'd like the new button to be; but theres no option in the button mapping for this. OK/Close just closes out of applications. I know theres a registry tweak to reveal the hidden rotate screen button map option, so I was wondering if there's similar tweaks for other options?

Re: Button Mapping?

You could enable the Windows Mobile Settings and try the button assignment that way using a registry editor : Turn on Windows Mobile setting Icon
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\ amd change Value 'HideSettings' to '0'
You can also try AE Button Plus on the web.

Re: Button Mapping?

+1 to AEButton Plus. For rotation I use OrientationDetection -works like a charm!
