is it just me or is vzw broadband slower?

few months back I have been noticing that evdo/broadband for mobile phones is becoming laggy and alot slower. I have unlimited data plan and the browsing is slower then ever. I have omnia 2, it used to extremely fast at web surfing but now it runs slow. I don't know if its my phone or my city towers got shut down with out notice...
