Can't see some text (white?) on html emails
Anyone else experience this? I get html email from a yahoo groups account and all of the colored html text and goodies are there, but the actual text message is not visible. If I do a "select all" then the message is visible as grey on a white background. It looks like the O2 likes to change the background on pages (to minimize battery life, I would guess) but this seems to cause a problem in this case. I think I've seen this on a couple webpages where there's a form and some of the text is just blank. Going into text mode and selecting the area then shows the hidden text. Anyone know if a setting to fix this?
Thanks. |
Re: Can't see some text (white?) on html emails
Try this:
1. Go to Main Menu 1 by clicking center button 2. cick "settings" lower left of screen 3. click "Display Settings" 4. click "Theme" 5. Probably "Black Theme" is outlined; select "Classic Blue" 6. click "done" lower left on screen answer yes to reboot. should fix the problem. it did for me. Happy New Year with your 02 |
Re: Can't see some text (white?) on html emails
Hey thanks, that works! I tried all of the themes and only the black one causes the problem. From what I've read, the white background uses a lot more power than black. You don't know how to just change the background alone to something like grey or dark blue maybe?
