video quality?

I have read several reviews for this phone but they all seem to vary on how good the camera is. I've seen good samples for the camera but only one sample video on phonearena which rates the video very poorly. Can anyone here confirm that the dvd quality video capture is limited to 18 fps and/or post some sample videos? Thanks in advance.

Re: video quality?

I haven't shot a lot of video yet, usually only when I accidentally hold the camera button too long and open camcorder instead of camera. But those couple of videos I shot for a few seconds looked really nice. The picture was quite clear and fluid...I'll try to shoot some video later and post it up.

Re: video quality?

I've taken a number of videos at full quality with the Omnia II and I have to say i was quite impressed with the video quality....no frame lag, no jitter or stutter...even at full resolution...and it does a fair job of compensating for light exposure...the only thing is that you have to set the focus before filming and then you cant change it during recording....but thats pretty much common with any camera phone. So personally I think its the most fluid video recorder on a phone i've seen so far. Thumbs up from me.
