Strange Task bar behavior

Has anyone had a problem with their battery icon not showing when you click the taskbar? Before if I wanted to check my power option I could just click the taskbar and hit the battery icon. I recently updated to the new version of MS 3.5.2. I might try to uninstall and see if that fixes the problem.

Re: Strange Task bar behavior

I also have Mobile Shell 3.5.2, and I am not having any problems with the battery icon in the "task bar".

However, I did notice that when I turned on the clock to show on all programs. then it did not show up in the taskbar, nor did it show up when you "clicked" on the taskbar to bring up all the large icons.

Go to the Launcher, Settings, Clock & Alarms, and the MORE tab, and uncheck "Display the clock on the title bar in all programs."

I guess you can have either/or, but not both.
Hope that helps.

Edit: I you really want the clock on the taskbar, were you aware that MobileShell has a battery icon (widget) that you can put on one of your panels? Then you just tap that icon.

Re: Strange Task bar behavior

Actually I found the problem. I had at one point clicked display clock in task bar. But I disabled it because I could not see the battery icon. But after that when I click the taskbar to display the large icons so I could go into my power options that icon was not there still. I had to talk to Samsung level 3 support and found the problem. Where are two ways to get into the clocks and alarms area. One will take you to the WM 6.1 version, and the other will take you to the 6.5 version. Even though it was not selected to display the time. I had to go into the world clock settings under the 6.5 version and then it would allow me to see the big battery icon. For some reason it was not resetting the flag to the OS. But thank you for your attempt at helping me covart. :D
