Has anyone tried the samsung extended battery? What is the thickness of it?

I, like you, am waiting for someone to try it out. I am leaning toward just keeping it near a plug since the extended battery is quite bulky and makes the back of the device pop out.

I bought the Extended battery from Verizon when I purchased the Omnia.

It is not that much thicker than the standard battery. I had the Mugen extended battery on my Omnia 1 and it doubled the size of the phone.

Nothing near that with the Omnia 2. The back cover is only thicker in the part around the battery, not across the whole back of the phone.

Get it. you won't be dissapointed.

I would also like to purchase the extended battery. Could you provide a picture so I can see how bulky it is with the new cover. Thanks.
