Re: Email Popping Up
Yes, I have the "X" button to close when hit. The problem still persists even when I don't have it active. The messaging application pops up everytime it it goes out to check for mail.

Re: Email Popping Up
I had that same thing happen to me. i am wondering if it was an application I installed that did it. Everything is backed up on my 16GB card and on my computer. So, I did a hard reset and starting from scratch. Everything seems to be OK.
Do you happen to have Mobild Shell 3.5 installed? I am installing everything one by one to determine the culprit. I will definitely report back to let people know. I knew I wasn't the only one! Validation feels good! LOL |

Re: Email Popping Up
OK, so I have installed the orientation application for landscape and configured my key applications (oops, I forgot Solitaire). Mobile Shell 3.5 is on there as well. Just about everything I wanted to have on there is on there. Had to install CF 3.5 in order to get the orientation application to work. So far, no email pop-ups. Let's see how it reacts over the next few days.

Re: Email Popping Up
OK. This has started happening for me, but with the text messaging, not email.
Who else has this problem? I have not installed mobile shell. I am not using Samsung widgets, nor the Windows default screen at the moment. I wanted to get used to the phone before deciding which stuff to load on. I have, however, loaded some other programs, and don't want to have to go back to square one. Help??!! |

Re: Email Popping Up
I use OrientationDetection v1.0.3578.41931 by McBee. Are there others? I was using G0Config on my "old" Imagio. that one was really good in that it was just an app that didn't run in TSR. Instead, it just made it easy to make add/edit the entries in the registry. Is there something like that for the Omnia II?
Everything seems to be working now, after the hard reset and reinstallation of everything. I really wasn't able to identify the culprit since I loaded everything I had on it before. |
