Android Crashing?

While playing with my phone, installing/removing apps & widgets, I have had the unit become unresponsive to touch and then suddenly display "android". Is that a self reset because the unit crashed?

Has this happened to anyone else? It has happen to me at least 4 times now. Granted I am playing hard with the unit and it does recover.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.5; en-us; SPH-M900 Build/CUPCAKE) AppleWebKit/528.5+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Mobile Safari/525.20.1)

I know I had to return one because I couldn't get a signal...even in high signal areas. It was almostlike it was stuck in airplane mode but instead of an airplane there was a constant "x."

Mutliple hard resets wouldn't work and even an rtm wouldn't work because it stated that the msl didn't match the system.

I'm currently on my 2nd one, so we will see how this works.

I've experienced the same thing...it's like a "soft" crash - the thing doesn't go all the way down.

Assume it might be the equivalent of an explorer.exe crash in the windows world...give it a sec and it gets going again.

That said, no idea what to do about it.

This seems to only happen to my phone when the battery reports a below 15% charge. Very strange though.:(
