Any of you Moment users want a hero??

Reason the "Maintenance" ROM is out for the HERO is that it had many basic functions not working and needed to be addressed..

So far my tried and true vanilla works outta the box, so my hopes for a real ROM release will be for updates and new working features, not just bug fixes.. DOH!

I have played with both, and the Hero more so since every time I went into Sprint for random issues I touched the phones lol, and when I went to get a new phone I didn't even look the Hero's way.

The no custom ROM thing is kinda ehhh, I am sure we will have something sooner or later, I am more interested in getting 2.1 then a custom ROM at the Moment....Haha at the Moment

I have used both and the Moment is quite a bit faster than the Hero, IMHO. Add to that the physical keyboard and I wouldn't dream of trading you, sorry.

Well the guys over at samsungmomentforum have made alot of progress. We have been able to flash custom kernels and boot screens. Which make the moment soooo much faster. We are only moments away from having a full custom ROM!

well i tried the moment for 20 minutes. while its a nice phone and pretty darn fast.. I just cant get myself to trust samsung anymore... so sold that and got a hero..and im happy.. plus im used to htc.. ( dont know if thats a good thing,lol ) so far im impressed..with android in general..be it the moment or hero.. both have their pros and cons.. but coming from wm and webos.. im very impressed with android so far..

F'in Instinct kinda sent me off the deep end on Samsung mobile devices.
