Need help/advice...

My daughter dropped her Moment in the freakin toilet! After pulling the battery and letting it dry out in a bag of rice for 24 hours, it powered up fine and worked for a full day yesterday. This morning it wouldn't power up at all, and plugging it in showed it as charging. Even after a full day of this "charging", the phone will not show anything other than charging? Does this phone have the water dots to show water damage like other phone or would I be safe taking into a Sprint store as "inoperable" with my TEP?

Thanks...

It's safe to say all phones nowadays have water indicators, including this one. You can take it in but I am sure they will check indicators right away.

Re: Need help/advice...

Considering my son did the same thing with his Moment a few days ago, I can empathize with you. And his did the same thing... worked for a day and then won't power up. To answer your question, there are three water indicators total in the phone (I took his apart for fun, after a good cleaning).

Sorry, looks like you are out the money for the phone and she is out of a phone.
