Here's the link to a file system update that will boost your performance quite a bit. Quadrant scores are now beating the droid, even with our crappy graphics driver. Just make sure you have at least 600mb free space on your sd card and go here:

Just downloaded fine for me.

I think I'll wait until this gets incorporated into a Custom ROM though!

i did the quadrant test before and got 307 then applied this and got 480 within a minute of the apply.

Took about an hour before it was available to d/l for me. Seems to be stable and as fast as advertised.

It'll keep all your same settings, so you can flash a custom ROM and then this and have the best of both worlds. You just can't flash another ROM after flashing this until they update the recovery to support it.

Do you need 600 MB free just for it to set up your Micro card, or does it actually take up 600 MB once it's done? I only have a 1 GB card for the moment, I have just over 600 free, but not sure if I will lose those 600 MB if I do the EXT2 mod.

It'll delete them when it's done. The space is needed because it copies all your files from the phone's memory to the sd card, formats the phone's memory, then copies the files from the sd card back to the phone, that way you get to keep your current setup.
