No Froyo 2.2 for Moment?

Saw this http://www.cnet.com/8301-19736_1-20008828-251.html today on the web.. so does it mean we won't get 2.2?

Confirmed...Sprint announced via Twitter that the Moment and the Hero will not be getting 2.2...means it's up to us. Thankfully, I'm up for upgrade in november.
