Im pretty new to android. I followd the tutorials to root my phone. Then I followed the instructions to remove some of the stock apps like Sprint TV. I have loaded up a bunch of programs on my phone and I am happy with the way things are set right now.

The Custom SDK update you linked, is that like a new rom? would it remove my existing settings/apps? I'm not interested in most of those settings, I just like the custom themes, and the ease of removing some of those apps.

heres what my "about phone" says: Kernal 2.6.29 Baseband version s:M900.8.os.de03

it isn't like a new rom, it's an easy way to customize the one you've already got. it won't change anything you don't tell it to. with nothing checked, it won't do anything. if you check, for example, the bejeweled demo box at the bottom under app removal then hit download, you will get a custom update.zip that does nothing but remove bejeweled. check a theme, it'll install that theme.

sorry for the long winded explanation, just say the word if i left something out or wasn't clear enough.
