unactivated moment...2.1 update?
 

so ups just dropped off my moment and i have it charging before i turn it on for the first time. can i update it to 2.1 prior to initial setup? i don't want to go through the setup twice if i don't have to.

You shouldn't have a problem upgrading to 2.1 before it is activated. It might just try to do the hands free activation the first time you turn it on but it will just fail and leave you on the android home screen.

yea, don't think there is much of a set up that has to be done. just turn it on and let it do whatever activation it needs to do. then do the update

yeah it was not a big deal at all. coming from winmo, initial setup takes forever but it looks like android is not like that at all.

updating before activation worked, but now that i see how minimal initial setup is it really wouldn't matter.
