Samsung Moment Cracked Screen
 

So my wife gracefully dropped my moment a couple weeks ago. Fortunately for me everything still works fine, touchscreen sensitivity is the same. But with such a large, beautiful screen the shattered display looks horrible!

I've looked at a couple options...use the insurance. The problem here is the Evo is coming out and I would rather place money towards that (I'm using my wife's contract renewal to get it)

Sell it. How much do you think it's worth? (Any takers??)

Ebay sells the outer body for $40-$60. From what I understand you can just move the motherboard into a new shell and presto! But I am not comfortable potentially exacerbating the situation. Is this correct?

Any thoughts or missed options? I appreciate the input of you mobile jedis.

chibucks-thank you for the information. Now that I know the extent of the surgery I am most definitely uncomfortable performing it. Hopefully one with more experience will purchase it as is...

wow man thats a bummer i have a moment and i almost broke my screen luckily i put the body glove on mine and i only broke the 17 buck case that i got on ebay oh well lots of luck bud
