fell out, now my keyboard doesn't have the snap it used to when sliding in and out... I contacted Samsung to see about repair... everything on the phone still functions so I'm not without, just what the heck!

Yeah, that looks like it would be an important part of the functionality lol.

Seriously, sorry to hear that. I personally would run it to a Sprint store and get them to swap it out for me. Also, do a Nandroid backup, so that you can get yourself back up and running on the new one quickly!

it's only about an inch and a half long...

Well I took my phone to Sprint and the tech girl said that she could have it fixed in about two hours... there were more phones in line to be repaired... I'm cool with them having it until I get off of work at 5, shoot even if they want to keep it till tomorrow ain't no sweat off my back... since the last two weekend I went unplugged... once at a Bed and Breakfast with my girlfriend and just last week camping :)

I picked my phone up from Sprint, it seems to me that they gave me a new phone, I have a QualComm sticker on the bezel of the screen. I took mine off long ago. The battery cover is clean and scratch free...
The serial number matches the one I registered with Samsung though, it does look like the sticker was removed at one time and replaced, it's not aligned squarely.
The tech told me that a rivet broke which caused the screen to come loose and fall out, it was a first for them... btw three of the reps I talked to when I picked up the phone are running 2.1 on the Hero which they told me they modded themselves... so I asked about 2.1 for the Moment and they said in the next couple of weeks, for what it's worth

I was thinking about picking up a moment but this has me second guessing, I played with one in the store the other day for about 30 mins and the screen feel was just not really that appealing.
