Could 2.1 be releases tomorrow???
 

I just went to the sprint Moment software version page as I have for the last week to check for the 2.1 updates. However this time the page is down and it just says
Or maybe it's just a routine web update:(

But it would really rock to wake up tomorrow and see some android 2.1 goodness:headbang:

UPDATE! 4/16/10:
OK The sprint Moment software site is down again for maintenance (For the past 2 days). This coincides with the projected Hero 2.1 release today (the 16th LOL). Maybe I am the eternal optimist but could they be rolling out 2.1 this time. I will keep an Eye on the software page throughout the day to watch for changes.

They are updating their site to offer more functionality to customers, such as a better way to check your account information, upgrade your plans and add-ons, etc.

Yep. They even had a preview of the upcoming changes to the site before it went live.

I think the site was down because they were updating the sprint website. The new look went live yesterday

Well looks like the software support site is still down. Is it too much to hope for that they would roll out 2.1 with the changes to the site. ehhh maybe...

But I'm crossing my fingers.

So how do you guys like the leaked 2.1 so far? If sprint doesn't release something soon I may move that direction. My problem is I have many registered applications and need to be able to run them so I am holding off for the official build. And then see what I can do to add tethering..

One thing I find odd about this "web update" is that whenever I do an update to any website/software I test everything prior to the update and then do a final push which should only take a few hours max. Why have they taken down entire sections of their site for multiple days. That just seems a little fishy/ or just poor planning.
