Swype Keyboard
 

over on xda, they posted a lite version of the swype keyboard (they removed the tutorial and help from it to make it ~1mb)... i've been using it for the past week and i've actually enjoyed it. i had the htc keyboard installed and was using it, but now that i've tried the swype one, i haven't gone back. it comes up instantly (the hero VK would lag a little bit sometime) - and the whole typing thing is pretty neat. anyways, wanted to post the link in case anyone else wants to try it.

you install it and then go to locale/text and enable it.

Wow, thank you so much for putting up the swype keyboard. I'm really digging it. It's so responsive and smooth, way better than what i was expecting.

I had seen this keyboard on TV and was wondering how well it worked. I actually like it a lot.

Well...Having a problem with the app here. Put it on my sdcard and installed it with the app manager and I now see it on my app list in app manager but I don't have an icon in my menu tray so I don't know how to turn it on. Shady,Chibucks.. How did you guys get it to run?

***Nevermind User error. Just re-read your post Chi and saw the Locale/text parts. Got too excited when I saw the app for download I guess and missed it. Thanks again***
