Bricked my wife's Moment
 

I was trying to root my wife's moment has CL14. When i hit the start button, it froze and i pulled the battery and now its saying cannot find jpg or png!

I cant restore flash or anything..Is there any help or am I screwed????](*,)

The moment is funny about the jpg's that it lets you use on the moment. Some work and others freeze. Just reflash it with the jpg included in the root kit or go back to stock. Your phone should still be good.

have u tried the button combo for the hard reset? hold vol down send and end then bottom option...after it comes back to that screen top option.

i finally got it after re downloading drivers..Gave odin a shot and it droze on my too..Right now I'm using sprint update utility and its just finished flashing it..Thank the heavens I didn't brick my wife's phone on the first day she got it lol..

Using the Sprint Utility is pretty easy too, just remember not to confuse the steps to root the Moment with steps to root the Hero

Which HOW TO did you follow?

you can use odin to flash the phone back to cl05 which is the first rom that was on the phone, more info here http://forum.sdx-developers.com/arch...with-cj05-sbl/ edit: bricked my friends moment trying to root, followed these instructions and phone was back up and running
