Automatic download of Google Apps?
 

Backround: I just bought my samsung moment, used from craigslist. Before this i had a Sprint Touch Pro and played with the android 2.1 rom hack. When i would switch rom iterations, the phone would automatically download and install all the apps i had previously searched for and installed based on my google account.

Is there a program on the hacked rom that does this, or is it inherent in the newer 2.1 version of android? Is there a setting i am missing that turns this feature on? I would love it for the upcoming update to not lose my purchases. Plus it's a pain searching for all the programs again.
