Re: joeys kernals
How would you guys compare it to Zefie's? I think I read somewhere that Joey's spawned off one of Zefie's but do you know what improvements he made?

Re: joeys kernals
lines are fixed, and speed is better. tether is missing, you can use speedrabbit's take on joey's kernal for tethering.

Re: joeys kernals
I flashed speedrabbit's 1.6 to test. So far it is pretty good. Only one problem I didn't notice on zefie's 14.3. Trying to figure out if it an app not playing nice with the kernel or if it is the kernel itself but I'm getting "1 task deleted" messages at random intervals. When I get the message, whatever app i'm in closes and if I'm on the home screen, all of my icons disappear and come back after a while. I'll will probably try to become a tester on sdx to see if anyone else is seeing it with 1.6. Other than that, it is noticeably faster than zefie's kernel. Haven't tested wifi tether yet but will today.

Re: joeys kernals
Wifi tether tested and works like a champ. This is a very very good kernel. Think i'll keep it for a while especially since it is so easy to flash back to zefie's with the recovery update feature.

Re: joeys kernals
I too installed SpeedRabbits kernel, enjoying it so fare (one day)
I like the boot splash too (for now) |
Re: joeys kernals
I used Joey's 1.9.5 for about 4 hours, and noticed horrible slow down when switching back and forth from landscape. Back to ZE 14.3 for me!
