Another 2.1 news update
 

From a "Sprint Employee" over at XDA.

"I work in ATS for Sprint, and according to information I have received, the official release date for the 2.1 update is set for 3/26. So there you go, take it or leave it."

Sounds like good news, but not getting my hopes up.

Supposedly 2.1 for the Moment is 3/31. Also says 6.5 update for Touch Pro 2 on 3/10, so I'd say if that comes out, since it's right around the corner, we may have some hope.

My wife just got a message from sprint stating urget update needed. Which I have already done, but since the cl14 update has the android update option on it, it made me think 2.1 is close. We can only wait and see.

Agreed. I got the same message my my 2 moments. One with CL14, one without. Fingers crossed.

Can't wait. I have been so spoiled with the Vogue and all the available Android 1.6/2.1 builds.

Part one of the prediction completed.....Sprint announced officially that TP2 will be getting 6.5 in March. Now lets just hope that the part that applies to us comes around.

We'll see what happens, but I learned a long time ago not to expect much from Sprint with regard to software updates.
