Moment as a Wifi hot spot?
 

Is this possible? is there an app that allows the Moment to act as a wifi hot spot. Thanx in advance

for rooted, yes there is, but it's not totally stable (CDMA lockups). do a search for wifi tether and you should be able to find it. :) (not sure what this forum's policy on links is)

Take a look at that. You will have to root your phone, and I don't plan on doing my right now with the problems I've been having. Just going to wait until 2.1 comes out, which is hopefully soon.

the app isnt in the market u have to root ur phone first which take 30 sec or less if u use the odin method and than download the wifi-tethering_momentpre2 . apk than install tht.... more info can be found over at wiki.sdk-developers.....

But as stated above its not 100% working i get about 30 min or less before it locks up an i have to soft reset sometime i get 5 min some time 10 min of use before it lock up an i have to soft reset so its not 100% yet

Thanks I was looking at the pocket game link through ppcgeeks and I completed root but couldn't search the app they said would be in the market. I'm still getting used to where to find odd ball apk files. So used to .cabs...
