Re: stupid in-call mute button!!

im sure theres a registry string somewhere linked to the sensitivity of the light sensor, however changing values may cause a bit more of a delay... which would cause the same problem.

I didn't know Android used a registry?? I do not have this problem at all. The sensor turns my screen off and you have to double tap even when it lights back up to get back to the dialpad or buttons.

the double tap happens because your face hit the keypad. if you press a number and dont press another number for a few seconds, it locks the keypad. Really blows if ur trying to make a CC payment

Ya I hate that function or when you have to call into a menu. I take back the mute thing I was stuck at an airport and it happened the other day. It was the way I was holding the phone that the sensor was uncovered and the screen came back on.
