not to be negative here but with or without active sync 4.5 the problem continues to happen at least 4 me, hard reset, soft reset, talking to sprint technicians, emailling samsung support, etc, no one seems to known whats causing this problem, i sent several messages to samsung and i never had a reply so i dont know what else to do. I will pay big bucks to who ever fix this problem 4 me and or us.

my theory is that it will just remake itself. or mess up your phone. I don't understand why our 830 is messing up while verizons 730 is workin fine, and they even have wifi

How about this: is there any program that will shot off the phone or put the phone in flight mode when this problem happens? or when we enter an area with no cdma service? that it may work 4 me in the mean while.
i have't tryed yet to delete the safestorage folder, i m just a fraid 2 mess something up and then i will be in trouble, because i use all the ones i have for business and then i will be really screwed.

I'm thinking that there may be things that refer or link to Safestore......personally, I haven't installed any applications to it, either it's on the device's main memory or on Storage Card.
