Inrepid shuts down randomly

I have been noticing lately that my Intrepid has been shutting off randomly. There has been times when I go lay my phone down and sometime when I come back to, the phone is off. I've been trying to find the cause of this problem but stumble across anything. The only program I have running on top of windows is the mobile shell app. I've been running this apps for a few months now with out any problems. Now when the phone powers off I have to pull the battery to get the phone back on. Has anyone run into the problem?

I haven't seen this on mine. I have seen the occasional reboot-on-its-own (maybe once every 4-6 weeks) but never the phone shutting itself off completely and requiring a battery pull. Sounds like something you installed has a memory leak, maybe? It's not necessarily anything you have installed "on top of WM"...any program can cause bad behavior which remains even if the program is fully exited.

Probably hard-reset-and-start-over time...

Mine does the same. It happened twice in a row once. But other than that one time, it had only happened very rarely and has yet to happen since. Usually when it occurs, I see the red light on. I can do nothing with it but take out the battery to get it to turn back on.
