Today Screen Layout

Hi all - I picked up an intrepid to replace an Ace last week and nearly took it back the next day. But I'm getting used to it and finding a lot of advantages, particularly battery life.

One of my two biggest concerns are bluetooth turning itself off, and thanks to you all I see there's a hack for that. The second is the Today screen. On WM6.2 I could see all of my messaging stats at once on the dinky screen, but with WM6.5 I have to scroll to see if I have new messages. I know Spb is an alternative that a lot of people like, but unfortunately the UI doesn't work for me - just a personal preference.

Any recommendations on tweaking the Today screen layout to get more condensed view of messaging?

2 options that are free:

1. Go to windows classic (6.1) today screen (start-settings-today-items-uncheck "windows default" and select the ones you want).

2. Install the titanium notifications panel mentioned in one of the recent threads here (but DO NOT mix it with the "apps" panel if you use home screen customizer). At the very least with Home Screen Customizer (free from the marketplace) you can move panels around and put text/email closer to your clock, or even make one of them the default panel.

I also recommend the "Titanium Notifications" panel. Puts, email, sms, voicemail, and missed calls all in one panel.
