My Intrepid wont power up!
 

Its charged, I was just using it to check email about 30min ago, I go to check it again a few minutes ago and its OFF. I tried to power it up, nothing. I took the battery out and put it back several times, zilch.

Is it dead forever? Im at work right now and cant run to the Sprint store, but I might just put it on the charger in my car for a few hours to see what happens. I had no indicators that the power was low and it charged for 4-5hrs yesterday and had little to no use overnight.

Anyone else have a dead or semi dead Intrepid?

This has happened to me a few times. Usually after charging, or while I'm on the Internets.

If I were you, I'd remove the battery for a few minutes, then put it back in and try to turn the phone on. If that doesn't work... I'd do it again... eventually it should work. Mine hung up on the Samsung screen a few times, and then turned off. And then it would get to the Windows Mobile screen and shut down. Eventually it worked.

Since then, I haven't had a problem. I would love to know when the phone randomly shuts off though.

Ya theres been a post on here regarding the phone shutting off randomly, it has happened to a few people including me, its annoying but ya it usually comes back to life!

My Intrepid died. First it would freeze when starting up, then it only turned on when it was hooked up to the charger. I gave it to a sprint store and they said it stopped turning on all together. Hard reset failed too. They gave me a new phone and it works much better. I got my intrepid the week it came out and always had something performing sub-par. However, now this new phone better and the power key seems more responsive, as well as the phone overall. I suggest you take it in and ask for a new one, (unless its completely dead make sure you have insurance

Sorry to hear you guys have had these issues. I dont have insurance on my phone but I bought it with my amex and amex insures my purchases.
