A really good IM.

Hey folks, since verizon has taken away the IM’ client that comes with wm6, is there any good IM’ client (that use yahoo) out there for the i760??? Especially one that uses a today plug-in?

The best IM application that costs $$ is IM+ and it has a Today plugin. Worth the $ if you want to pay, but...

Palringo is free, and its good. No Today plugin, but it does run in the "tray" and stays active.

The major different between the 2, besides the cost: IM+ has Myspace IM support, Palringo does not. Other than that they both allow you to connect up to the major IM networks.

my vote is for palringo. it has push to talk built in and a ppcgeeks group room where we trade files, exchange info about new programs, etc. and of course it also does yahoo, msn, and aim. to top it all off...it's free.

Definitely Slick is the best. Just find 0.40 if you want to use AIM; 0.41 and 0.42 have a bug that causes them to send blank IMs.
