Odd question, how do I disable wifi?

I know this is an odd question, but my employer will be getting about a hundred of these devices in... and I need to disable wifi to meet with a security requirement.

The devices will have a data only plan, and I need to limit their connection to the server we specify so that the average user can't do other things.

Since this device has wifi, how would I go about disabling it in the registry? I know I can simply press a button and have it turned off, but I need to make sure it's a bit harder for the user to turn back on.
