Any info on overclocking the i760 yet?

just curious... anybody have any info about any program that can overclock the i760? also, has anyone tested any overclocking on this device and what did you find to be most effective and stable?

Are you having issues that would make you overclock? I know I'm not.

no real "issues" but the phone lags a lot. I dont want to make it a ton faster, but I know simple things like setting an mp3 file as the ringtone bogs it down when i get a phone call.

if there's no way to overclock it, is there a way to make it so when you close a program it actually closes? for example, if you open windows media player to listen to music, then click the X to close it, if you look in the task manager, its still actually in the ram. can you make it actually close out of the program when you hit the X. and not just media player, all programs.

There are lots of task managers to actually close programs. Some of them are:

Magic Button - Free
WKtask - Free

Wisbar Advance 3 - Commercial
iLauncher - Commercial (does more then just task management)
PocketPlus - Commercial (does more then just task management)

There are a bunch of other also.

I've been using XCPUScalar at 500 and it seems more responsive. Especially when I have multiple apps open. Before it would lag a little and after running XCPUScalar it seems alot more responsive. Just my opinion...

I actually started that thread after finding this one:

The geeks thread has more user input on this subject, I just put it out there for all my pdaphonehome brotha's and sista's.
