Samsung Galaxy Indulge or Craft 4G for Metro PCS?

Does anyone know if either of these phones are hotspot or tether capable on Metro PCS? I'm looking to upgrade my wife's phone and I was hoping to find one with Metro PCS that could be used as a wi-fi router/hotspot for her laptop as well.

I'm basically looking at these phones:

Blackberry 8530
Samsung Galaxy Indulge
Samsung Craft 4g
LG Optimus M

Or if anyone has had any luck with another Metro PCS phone using it as a router let me know I'd appreciate any help or advice you can give!

Blackberry 8530 - idk..my only speciality with bb is breaking them :P
Samsung Galaxy Indulge - This one was rooted so you should be bale to tether
Samsung Craft 4g - This is just a feature phone...not an Android phone
LG Optimus M - this one also was rooted so should be able to tether..

Re: Samsung Galaxy Indulge or Craft 4G for Metro PCS?

Sorry for the late response, after that post my PC fried and I been going through hell trying to recover my stuff X_x;;;;

Thanks for the advice! My wife really likes the Indulge so we're gonna go with that one. Do you know what's the best way to tether that specific phone? On my TP2 I use WM wi-fi router, since that Indulge is a Android that probably won't work.

I'm gonna research it and see what I can find out. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

PS: And since my PC crashed the wi-fi router quit working w/ TP2. I just have no luck this week Just says "Local Access only" when I try to get online. Gonna re-install it and see if that fixes the problem.

looks like with Indulge you dont even need to be rooted to use wifi tether. Success!! WiFi Tethering!!! - Android Forums
