Re: Galaxy S 2!!!

ok...haven't searched...not enough time(currently deployed)...

any guesses on when root access will be available for the Sprint ver?

AND...since they employ Cyanogen now...would that equate to a quicker dev time for CM for Samsung devices??

root access will probably be there since day 1..since boot-loaders aren't locked+signed.

As for development..I don't know honestly..it definitely should be better then say the Epic..but it boils more down to how close it is to the GSM versions..

I mean in Epics case it was impossible to get GSM stuff to boot or even the Nexus S 4G stuff to boot..which meant Epic was just too different from the other variants...

That is where it boils down to..

probably not...I mean sprint already has 3 phones in that size range...and nothing of it in the leaked docs..

also technology moves fast..Samsung just announced a tablet with 1280x800 resolution that is Super AMOLED and 1.4ghz dual core!!!

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 official: dual-core 1.4GHz CPU, Android 3.2, HSPA+ -- Engadget

(First tablet thats not a tegra2 pure exynoss awesomeness!!!)

and a 5.3" phone with 1280x800 super amoled:

Samsung Galaxy Note announced: 5.3-inch display, built-in-stylus, custom 'S Pen' apps -- Engadget

Edit: Sony just entered the 3d game but so far they only been on ATT and verizon :/

So I see that Sprint removed that single button like iPhone and on each side of it was a menu key and back but no search. Hmm
