set CPU and watchdog actually slowed my phone down?

I'm fairly positive setting up profiles with setCPU and running watchdog slow the system down. I uninstalled both these things and my phone feels a bit snapper WITHOUT them.

waste of 4 bucks lol

umm...isn't that what setCPU is suppose to do? underclock your processor to save battery life...but it does need some optimizations for Galaxy S phones as some claim it can be unstable.
