There needs to be an undo. I'm always killing whole lines of text somehow.

yeah, I think that is it. but it's more like I accidentally hit the fn button thinking "shift" cause that's where it is on the TP2. Then I hit the arrow key with the fn stuck... I've done that like 20 times easily.
