apps and ATK....

just wondering, why is it that when i do simple tasks, such as open my texts (which involves NO apps) and then i go to ATK, there are apps that are killed??? how is this possible? i can see if i was in an app and then tried to use ATK but the apps that are being closed werent even being used??? can anybody explain this?

also, why is it that when i receive a text, i will open via either handsent or messaging, my light will blink red? why does this occur and how can i stop it from happening, i mean, i have READ the flippn' text!!!!

Wirelessly posted (Samsung Epic : Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1-update1; en-us; SPH-D700 Build/ECLAIR) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/530.17)

as far as blinking light u would have to disable the notification .. if u do that in stock sms but dont in handcent, then use stock to read it handcent will continue to cause the led to blink .. vice versa .. u disable it all in all then no blink will occur .. soooo ditch 1 lol

hahahahha....I was in the same boat for a few hours myself...I'd have double notifications at the top and the LED would keep blinking too. I finally smacked my head and figured out that Handcent and the stock messaging were both throwing up notifications, duh!

late,
Coz

apps like to start on their own lol ... it happened on my evo & moment but since i havent installed atk on my epic & just use stock task manager its like i dont even know if all that craps running .... which is fine by me bcuz this thing runs smooth ... im sure if u search on atk in the threads there is plenty of reading .
