forward a received text to others....

hello all! can u tell me step by step how to do this? i would think that i if i pressed down on the text i wold receive an option to forward, but this is not the case, rather, when i hold down on the text, the only options made available to me are 'view thread", 'add to contacts' and 'delete thread'...please help!

the Galaxy S uses a threaded view for text messages and at the moment when you're holding down what you think is the messsage, you're actually viewing the thread and thus it's giving you thread options when you hold it down.

Instead, touch the thread once to open the the thread, THEN hold down the message you want to forward - the forward option will appear. This will make more sense when you have multiple messages in the thread.

wow. you must not be a very good googleer. try not searching for epic specific. search for things regarding "android"
such as "android text forwarding" not "epic text forwarding"
here are my results...
http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=...c94b35e6dc7a01
also, do you always double post all your threads at xda? this is about the 4th one ive seen anyway. id at least wait for an answer at one of them before i posted it again. jus my opinion.
and to stay on topic, vansmack is right.

while i DO appreciate your opinion and concern re: me posting here and at xda, i dont understand what difference it makes. everybody on ppcgeeks is not necessarily on xda therefore i was simply seeking responses from different sources...again, i apologize if my posts bother or offend u and thanks for responding to my original post!
