Touchwiz 3.0 functions on the Epic 4G

ok, like many others it's just about a done deal that i'll be getting the epic4g but there is something that is pointed out in nearly every review that kinda bugs me. that is the issue of not having all the same functionality of touchwiz on the epic as there is on its sisters (fascinate, vibrant, and captivate). it seems that there is a function to edit the home screen and menus on these other variants of the phone, but not on epic version. there are other slight differences that are noticed as well. many of them illustrated in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DThtzpvjPGE

so my questions are:

1) is there a way to get the touchwiz edit function on the epic? (specifically customizable app drawer, custom view types, shortcuts, and

2) can the epic get the apps that are found on the captivate and its sisters, that aren't pre-installed on the epic? (specifically custom widgets and samsung widgets...are they the same).

im coming from WM6.5 and don't know much at all about android or touchwiz. so maybe the questions im asking are non-issues and easily solved, but for me they are shots in the dark.

thanks for your help...

3) is there are a reason why these functions & apps were ommitted from the epic? (im not talking about the carrier specific apps)...maybe the hardware keyboard causing issues???

Most things from the other devices can easily be ported...mostly the widgets...as for the apps that is no problem as well..they can be ported from the other devices.

As for the carrier doing such things.. oreo..the carriers usually have little reason for doing dumb things...but from rumor going around the Epic will get another update before going live to people...so we will see if these thigns still remain...either way the community will make short work of it..mostly if the other devices already have it implemented...
