Video out

I wonder if the Sprint Epic 4g will have composite video out capabilities through the 3.5 headphone jack like the Galaxy S does in this video...

That would be a really nice feature as my TV isn't "DLNA" ready. Does anyone know how you can use the DLNA streaming feature on the phone to work on a non DLNA TV or through a PS3? I currently have my PS3 hooked up to my home network via ethernet. I know the PS3 has wifi, but I don't think you can use ethernet and wifi concurrently. Does anyone know of some kind of DNLA adapter you can use to make non DNLA equipment compatible?

I don't know if I totally understand how DNLA works, but if I use the wifi of the phone to connect to my home network, does this mean that my other networked appliances see the DNLA server of the phone?

DLNA works over any network, wired or wireless...

I believe I read that video out will work out of the 3.5 mm headset jack. I'll try to find the link.

Composite video only goes up to 480i, and the TP composite output will look the same as even a higher quality device outputting at the same resolution.
BTW I have sent the TP output to my 65" TV and The video was certainly watchable. I was actually rather impressed at how "decent" the picture was coming from the tiny TP onto the 65" beast. To get better output you have to use the DLNA HD output.

DLNA can do full 1080p if you have the connection speed for it..(like N)
