SHOULD I HARD RESET?

no matter what phone ive ever had ive never gotten battery life like aot of you guys do. i dont know how you do but ive given up trying. even with roms i cant. i am on stock wiht note 2 and it is so bad that i can unplug and not touch my phone and it goes to 90 percent with the screen off within 20 minutes . i have sync gps wireless and bluetooth off. and my screen goes black in 10 seconds. one thing is when i go to running programs it shows alot so i use the broom to clean it and then when i check back to ruining programs a minute after, there are lots of apps open again. even things like word with friends that of course wouldn't be open if i didn't open it. have you heard of this/. or is it normal? would you suggest a hard reset? any suggestions would be appreciated. im not as savvy with flashing roms on here as i was with early phones so id prefer to say on stock. thanks so much
jeff

Re: SHOULD I HARD RESET?

Yes, it is frustrating trying to get more battery life out of a phone. I just bit the bullet and bought a ZeroLemon battery for my Note 2. Now I can't kill this thing. I leave the screen on, live wallpaper, wifi tether, gps... everything. It is quite liberating!

Re: SHOULD I HARD RESET?

That sounds like a bad battery. Pull the battery, lay it on a flat surface and give it a spin. If it spins at all, the battery is swollen and bad.

Re: SHOULD I HARD RESET?

That is a good point D. I was having a hard time getting through the day with my Note 2. That is why I made that suggestion, but maybe he does have a bad battery! Good suggestion about spinning it! Cool.

Re: SHOULD I HARD RESET?

Time for an upgrade to the note 3.

I know you would like to stay on the stock rom op but the benefits of being on a custom rom are well worth it. Flashing and rooting is extremely easy and you can be walked through the steps.

thank you for you suggestion. my only concern is protection for the phone. i have an otterbox on there now. do you have anything that will work with this i do drop my phone sometimes and im nervous about the screen. just wondering what you do. thanks again
jeff
I understand where you are coming from. Well, the zerolemon does come with a protective case. It is not as protective as the otterbox, but I have dropped this thing more times than I care to admit, and so far it has not sustained a scratch.
