Jelly Bean upgrade & WIFI Shuts off Phone
Upgraded to the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and now every time I turn on the WIFI it ask me for the password. After entering the password the phone shuts off, restarts, and the WIFI is on and works.
Why after upgrading does the phone shut off when starting the WIFI and what is the fix for it? Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S2. I thought the upgrade would be better. Thank you in advance |

That doesn't sound right. How did you update?

Re: Jelly Bean upgrade & WIFI Shuts off Phone
First the phone wasn't modified, rooted, or anything else. I went to the Samsung site, grabbed the update file and followed the instructions for updating. The update process went flawlessly. However, when using the phone and turning on the WIFI the phone shuts off and restarts. Note that the WIFI works but its a pain when the phone has to restart when accessing the WIFI and it always ask for the password.
Thank you, Skid |
