HTML Exchange email

I am thinking about upgrade to the Epic Touch. I've been searching around trying to find out if the Epic Touch 4G will do HTML email with an exchange account (Hotmail). I haven't been able to get a definate answer. Is anyone here using exchange email with or without Hotmail? Does it support HTML?

Re: HTML Exchange email

HTC mail app supported HTML exchange. I assume the Epic Touch 4G would also....but I'm not 100% positive because I'm still waiting on mine to come in. :)

Thats cool. Thanks for the info.

The HTC mail app on my EVO 4G won't do HTML email with a Hotmail exchange account. It will do HTML pop3 with Hotmail, but not exchange...

That's weird must be a hotmail thing. I used 1&1 exchange and html worked fine.

No idea. It worked on the EVO 3D for the brief amount of time I had it. I'm using enhanced mail on my E4G right now.

I use K9 also. I only use it for my work email. Last I checked it only did exchange email thru webdav...

Re: HTML Exchange email

The ability to utilize HTML email is entirely based on the server, not the client (phone). For example, I had an EVO (now E4GT) and Windows 2003SBS at work. No HTML as it was not supported by that version of Exchange. We upgraded to 2011SBS recently and both phones could then have it.

I don't know anything about K9, but any app that delivers HTML email from a non supported server just converts it for your viewing pleasure.

Edit: spell check
