Welcome to the midNIGHT ROM Thread

I created this new thread because a major change has occurred in this release. Many of you will remember k0nane from the Epic 4G forums. k0nane is one of the best developers we have here at XDA. He's also one of the finest examples of how we should conduct ourselves in this community.

K0nane has once again made a major contribution to this community by removing the CIQ from the Epic Touch 4G as he did for the Epic 4G.

For information about Carrier IQ and why we don't want it, see the 2nd post.

Important Updates:

*** A note to developers: k0nane will release a stand alone package to remove Carrier IQ soon. We want everyone to benefit from this development..... ***

***This ROM does contain Zedo's OC kernel. Sorry about the confusion. I'm personally using the new stock release he did. ***

Requirements:

CWM Recovery

Instructions:

1) You need to odin CWM Recovery
2) Boot into recovery (vol up and power) and do a full backup before flashing
3) Wipe everything
4) Flash midNIGHT ROM
5) Reboot and Enjoy
6) Locate any post by K0nane and click the thanks button.
