Anyone know why Phone Canvas would lock up my rom? No matter what version I use it always seems to lock up my rom, If I take it out and use the stock 6.5 dialer the rom works flawless... This is really buggin me ](*,)

When I have issues with a particular package the first thing I do is recmod is modules or reversemode its files. sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt.. worth a try though!

List your, Phonecanvase pack, Phonesettings pack and your PhoneExt_Service pack please.

If you have data set to autodisconnect after a minute or so, it will cause the slide to answer/ignore to freeze a lot. This has been a known problem for a while now.

It's related specifically to the "suspend resume" setting. Just make sure it's set for #777, and nothing different.

The phone boots up and manila starts then I click the phone soft key it shows the the dialer and sometimes locks up right there but mostly when I try to make a call. I'll list the packages I have as soon as I can get to my laptop.

Phone canvas is not just a skin, it handles lots of functions as well, for example bluetooth icon and data arrows on the taskbar, epst code parsing etc.
you run into issues when you try to use a canvas from a device that uses different technology ( cdma<-->gsm ).
