6800 memory allocation

I appologize if this topic has been covered. I did see it in my searches.
I want to reallocate some of my internal memory for programs to run.
All of my data and programs are loaded on my sd card, but I still have to shut down all other programs to run my GPS off-road navagation software.

Any ideas?

Re: 6800 memory allocation

Since you're a 6800/Mogul user, I'm sure you know that it's memory capability is somewhat limited. Putting your apps on your SD card is a good idea (except for those that are accessed @ startup). You might have an issue with junk file accumulation causing your slowdown. This is something you really need to watch out for on a device like the Mogul. SKTools or MemMaid will clean out all of the debris and keep everything running smoothly
