EVDO on rom 2.17.651.0

I have EVDO on 2.17 rom and was wondering what is the difference between the one I have and the rom that everyone is axiously awaiting? Please excuse my ignorance on the subject for i'm 2 weeks new to the PPC scene in general. I've got a Mogul 6800

You have EVDO REV 0... there is an update to get EVDO REV A wich is much faster.

Personally I'm waiting for the official ROM update, or a custom ROM based on the official ROM.

BTW you have better chances of experiencing if you live in a metro region..

Ooooooohhh Ok. Thanks for the response. Like I said I'm new to the ppc scene altogether so I had no idea what the difference was. Hopefully the update comes soon as this device could definately use some speed on the net
